Tammy Trujillo originally created The Pet Project as a weekly feature about 'all things animals' for a Los Angeles news radio station during the mid 1990's. Even as just a 2-minute, once a week piece, The Pet Project started winning awards and gaining fans. More importantly, the piece helped share information about everything from responsible pet guardianship to special needs animals, medical breakthroughs to food recalls...and often just the plain joy, love and rewards that come from having a pet in the house.
With so much more to say and so much more work to do to help people create and improve the human-animal bond, when the time was right, The Pet Project launched as first a one-hour and quickly grew to a two-hour show.
The Pet Project is always looking for story ideas and is always ready to find the answers to any questions you might have about your pets and your relationships with them.
Pets are a blessing in our lives that few things can match but the world is not always the kind of place they deserve, so please consider supporting The Pet Project with a donation or, if you have a business, as a sponsor. Your help will keep The Pet Project on the air and able to reach more people...and animals...around the world!
